Context

Digital assets and developer tooling

ApeWorX builds Ape, an open-source Python framework for developing, testing, and deploying smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM chains — tooling for the infrastructure that digital assets run on.

I owned every channel the team used to reach its audience of Python developers, data scientists, and security professionals.

Work

What I did

I built an editorial calendar tied to technical releases on GitHub, so every launch had content ready to explain it. I created and managed all of the team’s channels: social media, the email newsletter, Discord, and the technical blog.

I also managed a community of open-source contributors and launched marketing partnerships with Yearn Finance, StarkNet, the Python Software Foundation, and the Ethereum Foundation, strengthening Ape’s credibility with developers. In April 2022, ApeWorX hosted the Womxn in Blockchain Tea Party, where attendees learned the Ape framework in peer-to-peer small groups.

def main():
    account = accounts.load("dev")
    contract = account.deploy(project.MyContract)
    print(contract.address)
